85% of small businesses are happy with their connectivity

Ofcom have commissioned the report ‘SME experience of communications services', which indicates 85% of small businesses are happy with their connectivity, and they've got the research and graphs to prove it!
Now we provide businesses with high quality connectivity and if we asked them are you happy with your connectivity then most would say yes but if we asked, would you like better connectivity then 100% would say definitely .
The real issue is what this report is going to mean for all our businesses. If Ofcom believe 85% of businesses are happy then they are unlikely to force the industry to invest and improve infrastructure.
Considering that the UK is presently ranked 15th in the world with average connection speeds of 9.9Mbps something needs to be done.
The opportunity here is that Ofcom want to know what you think and have extended the deadline for responses to their ‘Comms for SMEs' consultation till 7th January 2015.
